All cash registers represented as 'professionally restored' are COMPLETELY restored! This means that the mechanism has been completely cleaned and inspected and all of the parts are brought back to their original working condition. All of the graphics such as flag indication and keychecks are returned to their original condition. All of the key stems are freshly nickel plated and all of the wood is refinished, including the inside of the drawer. Most importantly, the case is stripped and polished to bring it back to its original condition, and a clear lacquer finish is applied to prevent tarnish and insure a bright 'shine' for many years to come.
We also want to tell you that it may have been necessary in some restorations to use some new/reproduction parts but we want to assure you these machines are OLD and are not 'reproduction(s) in and of themselves.
Please be aware our prices do not include crating and shipping, however this service is available through the likes of 'Craters&Freighters' or 'JRD's Classics - PastPresentandBeyond. We also provide this service for you and normally offer a 'refund' of 50% of the charge - 'with SAFE/PROMPT RETURN of ALL shipping crates, cartons and materials.
Of course at any time you are more than welcome to personally pick-up your machine.
